Chaffle=Delicious
Oh Chaffles, where have you been my whole low-carb life? These things have gone viral in just the last few weeks, causing low carb eaters everywhere to dig out their waffle makers from the cabinet where all the unused kitchen appliances live.
For me, that meant going down to the basement storage room and dusting and washing mine. Poor, lonely waffle maker has not been used in a long, long time.
So, what is a Chaffle? It’s a “waffle” made from egg, cheese, and almond flour. Mix together, pour onto your greased waffle iron, follow the iron’s directions, and poof, you have a vehicle for everything you can imagine. Tacos, breakfast, sandwich bread, sweets, burgers-you name it, it deserves a chaffle.
Here’s the recipe I used:
1 large egg, 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 2 tablespoons of almond flour
After I cooked it, I topped it with Boars Head Buffalo Chicken and Avocado.
You guysssss-this was SO GOOD and SUPER FILLING!
Try it-and let me know what you think!
